Google AdSense

Some users tell us that they regret that our site contains advertisements. We ask for your understanding: nt2taalmenu.nl uses Google AdSense advertisements to keep its content free of charge. We receive no subsidies, so apart from occasional donations, advertising is our only source of income.

When you visit our website, your browser automatically sends certain information to Google, including the web address of the page you visit and your IP address. Google may also place cookies in your browser or read existing cookies. This information, including your computer’s IP address, is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to provide us with reports about the website, and to give its advertisers information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google may provide this information to third parties if legally required to do so, or if those third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no control over this. For more information, see How Google uses information when you use our partners’ sites or apps.

Use of cookies

We use cookies when providing electronic services. A cookie is a small file sent along with pages of this website and stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. You can disable these cookies in your browser.

As mentioned above, cookies from the US company Google are placed on our website through Google AdSense.

For more information about cookies and tracking and how to disable them, see this page from Bits of Freedom: Protect yourself against tracking (Dutch).

The simplest way to avoid tracking and cookies is to use a privacy-friendly browser, such as Brave. For more information, see Use a privacy-friendly browser (Dutch).

YouTube

A YouTube icon appears at the bottom of our pages. Clicking it takes you to our YouTube channel. YouTube then places cookies and collects information about your online activities.
